
Tacoma police said a person was booked after a man was found fatally shot Tuesday morning.
TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police said a man was killed in a shooting Tuesday morning on Martin Luther King Jr. Way, and a person was later booked on suspicion of his death.
Officers were called just after 11 a.m. to the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way for a report of a possible shooting, according to the Tacoma Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. Police said officers tried to save him until the Tacoma Fire Department arrived.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tacoma police said Wednesday that an arrest had been made in the case.
