
A vehicle fire at a Puyallup apartment complex spread to detached garage units early Sunday.
PUYALLUP, Wash. — Firefighters responded to an early morning vehicle fire at an apartment complex in Puyallup, after flames spread from a burning vehicle into nearby detached garage units.
Crews were dispatched around 2 a.m. Sunday to the 1700 block of East Main Avenue, where they arrived to find one vehicle fully engulfed in flames. A second vehicle had begun to ignite, and the fire had extended into adjacent garage units.
Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control and worked to prevent it from spreading further.
One vehicle was destroyed in the fire, while two additional vehicles sustained damage. Two detached garage units also suffered significant fire damage.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not been released.
