SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department is investigating the death of a man in Madison Park a few blocks from Lake Washington.
According to SPD, on May 24 around 5 p.m., SPD officers and Seattle Fire Department personnel responded to reports of a man on the ground of a parking lot in the 4000 block of East Madison Street. When they arrived, they found the man had “obvious signs of trauma,” and they declared him dead at the scene.
The SPD’s medical examiner will identify the deceased man and determine the cause and manner of death, explained SPD Det. Eric Muñoz. There is no suspect description at this time, he noted.
In the meantime, any citizens with information about the incident is asked to call the SPD tip line at 206-233-5000. Anonymous tips are accepted.
