
The grocery chain has over two dozen locations in western Washington, and Woodinville is getting its first store.
WOODINVILLE, Wash — Trader Joe’s is set to open its location in Woodinville on Friday.
The grocery store, which is located in the Woodinville Plaza shopping complex near Northeast 175th Street and 140th Avenue Northeast, will open at 9 a.m.
The grand opening celebration includes a ribbon cutting, free samples and a tote bag giveaway.
This is the first Trader Joe’s grocery store in Woodinville.
In March, the chain announced plans to open another location in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood. However, an opening date has not been set.
Trader Joe’s has nearly 30 locations in western Washington. The most recent location opened in Lacey in November 2025. Trader Joe’s also opened a new Seattle store in the Greenwood neighborhood in April and a Bellingham store in May last year.
