
The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of murder, according to Seattle police.
SEATTLE — Seattle police said they have arrested a 46-year-old man in connection to the death of a 35-year-old man found inside a tent at a South Seattle encampment.
Police said officers were called just before 9 a.m. May 7 after a body was reported near Cheasty Boulevard South and South Winthrop Street. Officers found the man dead inside a tent.
According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim was identified as Miracle McKenzie.
Detectives, with help from SWAT and the Gun Violence Reduction Unit, arrested the 46-year-old man Monday.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of murder.
