SNOHOMISH, Wash. — At least one person suffered burns in a large trestle fire near Harvey Airfield in Snohomish on Tuesday.
The response had shut down Airport Way as emergency crews responded to a fire burning near the train tracks, Snohomish County Fire District 4 said in a Facebook post.
The fire burned approximately 300 feet of trestle, Snohomish County Fire District 4 said. Crews had contained the blaze by 6:30 a.m.
Fire officials encouraged drivers to use alternative routes and to slow down for fire crews.
The area surrounding the fire is mainly industrial and business properties.
