
A passenger side mirror recovered at the scene may help identify the vehicle, deputies said.
NORTH BEND, Wash. — The King County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a black Jeep believed to have seriously injured a bicyclist in a North Bend hit-and-run.
The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. May 9 near Southeast 140th Street and 463rd Avenue Southeast, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies said the bicyclist was riding along the south shoulder of Southeast 140th Street when they were struck by a vehicle’s passenger side mirror.
The vehicle left the scene eastbound after the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators believe the vehicle is a 2024-2026 black Jeep Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer.
The right passenger side mirror was recovered at the scene, and the vehicle is believed to be missing that mirror.
