
The Spokane Police Department arrested a man on suspicion of murder in the shooting death of his business associate in Federal Way, police said.
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Police have arrested a man in connection to the shooting death of his business associate in Federal Way.
The Spokane Police Department arrested a 42-year-old Federal Way man in the May 1 shooting, the Federal Way Police Department said Tuesday.
The man was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of murder. He has not been charged.
Federal Way police responded to a shooting at a home near Southwest 314th Street and 40th Avenue Southwest on May 1 about 10:30 a.m.
Officers found a 42-year-old man who had been shot. First responders treated him at the scene. The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he died.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Jeremy Benjamin Fogelquist. He died of multiple gunshot wounds.
In their initial report, police said the incident appeared to be a “targeted act of violence.”
Detectives identified the suspect, a Federal Way man who was a business associate of the man who died, through their investigation.
