SEATTLE — Seattle firefighters rescued a person who was trapped 40-foot down an embankment after falling from a trail at Discovery Park on Sunday.
According to the Seattle Fire Department, tethered responders cut through brush and were lowered to reach the person.
Once reached, the person was lowered to the beach in a Stokes basket, officials said.
The Seattle Fire Department said the person sustained only minor injuries and refused transport to the hospital.
