SEATTLE — A second man has been arrested in connection with a robbery and homicide in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood earlier this month.
The U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested the 34-year-old man Wednesday. He was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of robbery and murder. He is expected to appear in court for a first appearance hearing Thursday afternoon.
The arrest is in connection with an April 9 homicide that killed Jesse Elden Finney, 41.
Police previously arrested Bradley Allen Might, 27, who is also believed to have been involved in the incident. Probable cause documents for Might’s arrest show investigators with the Seattle Police Department believe the killing began as a plot to steal drugs.
A third suspect is still outstanding, according to Seattle police.
Finney was found shot in the head in an apartment at Fourth Avenue and Battery Street around 5:30 a.m. He died the following day.
In probable cause documents for Might’s arrest, he told investigators he went to the apartment with two other men to steal fentanyl from Finney.
A witness who was in the apartment’s loft told police that one of the suspects – later identified as Might – hit him with a rifle in the loft before he heard a gunshot below.
The witness told police Might took their phone and a bag with drug paraphernalia before leaving with the other suspects.
Might was charged April 15 with first-degree murder and first-degree robbery, both with a firearm enhancement. He pleaded not guilty April 20.
Police asked the public to contact SPD’s violent crimes Tip Line at 206-233-5000 with any information about the incident.
