TACOMA, Wash. — Five students, including a suspect, and a security guard were injured in a stabbing at Foss High School in Tacoma on Thursday, according to the Tacoma Police Department.
The stabbing was reported around 1:38 p.m.
According to Tacoma police, six people were injured and were transported to local hospitals. MultiCare, which runs Mary Bridge and Tacoma General Hospital, confirmed to KING 5 they are receiving patients from the incident.
All victims were in stable condition as of 4 p.m. Thursday, according to the Tacoma Fire Department.
Tacoma police confirmed the suspect is a student and is in custody.
Foss High School remains on lockdown and parents are being notified.
