SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department is investigating after a man was found shot Tuesday morning in West Seattle.
The man was shot in the back, according to Seattle police.
The Seattle Fire Department treated an approximately 32-year-old man at the scene. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition for treatment.
Footage taken by a KING 5 crew at the scene near Delridge Way Southwest and 17th Avenue Southwest shows a police presence and crime tape near a tent encampment.
Law enforcement is currently trying to locate the suspect. The public is not believed to be in danger as police believe this was a targeted shooting.
