The Seattle Police Department reports three connected armed robberies occurred within 25 minutes in Seattle, with suspects yet to be apprehended.

SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department says a series of armed robberies reported early Friday morning across Seattle are likely connected.

Police say three incidents were reported within about 25 minutes in West Seattle and South Seattle.

The first call came at 12:51 a.m. in the 1600 block of Southwest Holden Street. Investigators say a suspect entered a store, implied they had a firearm, and demanded money. The clerk complied. No weapon was seen. The suspect was described as wearing all black and was not located.

At 12:56 a.m., officers responded to another robbery in the 4300 block of Southwest Admiral Way. Police say the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded cash before fleeing northbound. The suspect was described as a male wearing all black clothing. A K9 unit from the King County Sheriff’s Office responded, and the area was searched with no arrests.

A third robbery was reported at 1:15 a.m. in the 4800 block of Beacon Avenue South in Beacon Hill. Police say two males, believed to be in their late teens to early 20s, entered a store armed with handguns, demanded cash, and took an entire cash drawer before fleeing. A K9 track ended a few blocks away, leading officers to believe the suspects may have had access to a vehicle.

Police say due to the timing and proximity of the robberies, it is likely the same suspect or suspects are involved.

Earlier, employees reported robberies at convenience stores in West Seattle and Beacon Hill, about 5 miles apart.

No suspects have been arrested, and no information about injuries has been released.

This is a developing story.
