
A man was booked into the Pierce County Jail after deputies said a 37-year-old was shot and killed inside a townhome.
PUYALLUP, Wash. — A man accused in a deadly shooting at Wynstone Townhomes was booked into the Pierce County Jail on a second-degree murder charge, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
Jail records show Moses Levin Karovsky was booked Tuesday night at about 8 p.m. after he turned himself in to the Seattle Police Department.
Deputies said the shooting happened April 12 at about 4:20 a.m., when they were called to Wynstone Townhomes for a report of a man who had been shot.
When deputies arrived, they found a 37-year-old man inside a townhome with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies began life-saving efforts until fire crews arrived and took over. The man later died from his injuries.
The sheriff’s office said the suspect left before deputies got to the scene.
Investigators said the shooting was an isolated incident between people who knew each other.
