REDMOND, Wash. — A large commercial structure fire in the 27900 block of Redmond Fall City Road has destroyed two buildings and 15 vehicles, prompting a major emergency response and the closure of the roadway for several hours.
According to Eastside Fire & Rescue, multiple agencies responded to the fire, which spread from the original building to a neighboring structure. Firefighters faced challenges battling the fire after discovering a nearby hydrant did not provide enough water pressure.
The fire ultimately destroyed two buildings and 15 vehicles. No injuries have been reported.
Redmond Fall City Road remains closed as crews continue working in the area. Officials say the highway is expected to remain closed for at least a few more hours while firefighters extinguish hot spots and investigators assess the scene.
