SEATTLE — One cat was rescued and reunited with its owner by Seattle Fire crews who responded to a 2-alarm fire at a home in Fremont Thursday afternoon.
There were reports of heavy smoke coming from the roof of the home as crews arrived to the 4400 block of Linden Avenue North, according to Seattle Fire.
The exterior portion of the fire was knocked down shortly after 2:40 p.m. and crews were putting out hot spots on the third floor by 2:50 p.m.
Seattle Fire remains in the area of Linden Avenue North and North 45th Street, though surrounding streets have since been cleared.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
