All eastbound SR 18 lanes in Maple Valley shut down due to crash

A crash has closed all eastbound lanes of State Route 18 near Maple Valley, causing significant delays. Drivers should seek alternate routes, per WSDOT.

MAPLE VALLEY, Wash. — A crash has shut down all eastbound lanes of state Route 18 near state Route 169 in Maple Valley Thursday, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

WSDOT said all eastbound lanes of SR 18 at milepost 16 were closed following the incident. Eastbound drivers are being diverted at 256th Street. Westbound lanes were also initially closed but reopened.

There is currently no information on injuries. Four vehicles were involved.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, and there was no estimated time for the roadway to fully reopen.

Drivers are advised to expect significant delays and consider alternate routes.
