
Washington State Patrol said troopers were headed to a crash involving a school bus carrying 40 to 50 children.
SEATTLE — A school bus carrying 40 to 50 children was involved in a crash Tuesday on southbound Interstate 5 near Northgate Way, according to the Washington State Patrol.
No injuries were reported, Trooper Rick Johnson said.
The crash happened just north of Northgate Way near milepost 173, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision blocked the left general-purpose lane and the HOV lane on southbound I-5.
Johnson said troopers were headed to the scene. A bus mechanic was also on the way.
The bus is from the Lakewood School District, according to Johnson.
