SEATTLE — Seattle police said a man was found dead in a tent near Mount Baker Station on Rainier Avenue South.
The Seattle Police Department confirmed officers were at 3005 Rainier Ave. S. for a death investigation.
Police said the man was found in a tent in an encampment in a wooded area behind Mount Baker Station. SPD Det. Eric Munoz said the encampment was “rather large” and was burrowed in the forest and green space along Cheasty Boulevard South.
Detectives are determining what led up to the man’s death.
The call came in around 9 a.m., according to SPD.
