
On southbound I-5, debris from a semi-truck damaged over 18 vehicles, but no injuries were reported, according to Washington State Patrol.
LAKEWOOD, Wash. — More than 18 vehicles were struck by debris from a semi-truck on southbound Interstate 5 near state Route 512 on Friday morning, Washington State Patrol said.
The flatbed semi lost several utility lids between 72nd and SR 512 in near Lakewood just before 7 a.m., according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
WSDOT said no lanes were blocked and no injuries had been reported, but at least a dozen cars suffered flat tires from the debris.
The drive of the semi was cited for having an unsecured load and was taken out of service, WSP said.
Drivers in the area should expect delays.
