
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect has not been arrested.
PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — A person is in critical condition after being stabbed near Joint Base Lewis-McChord on Sunday evening.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, the stabbing was reported around 6:54 p.m. at 11401 South Steele St.
When deputies arrived, they found a person who had been stabbed twice. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, authorities said.
According to Central Pierce Fire and Rescue, the person was stabbed in the neck outside a nearby business.
No one is in custody. Detectives remain at the scene investigating. No other information was immediately available.
