A fatal collision has closed northbound State Route 7 near Parkland, urging drivers to find alternate routes as authorities investigate the scene.
PARKLAND, Wash. — A fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision has closed northbound State Route 7 at 104th Street South in the Parkland area Saturday morning.
Authorities confirmed the pedestrian was deceased at the scene. The Washington State Patrol first posted about the incident on social media around 4:15 a.m.
Drivers heading northbound on SR-7 toward Tacoma are advised to use westbound SR-512 to Interstate 5 or take South Tacoma Way as alternate routes.
