
Highway 9 in Skagit County has reopened after a fatal collision involving a motorcyclist on Thursday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.
SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. — Highway 9 near Mount Vernon has reopened after a fatal motorcycle crash, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The highway was blocked between Sulfer Springs Road and Lake Cavanaugh Road. Drivers were detoured to West Big Lake Road.
It’s not clear what led up to the crash.
The Washington State Department of Transportation said incident response, state troopers and emergency crews also responded to the scene.
