VAUGHN, Wash. — All lanes of state Route 302 are blocked near Vaughn in Pierce County after a car crashed into a power pole Tuesday.
The incident was first reported about 5:15 a.m. just west of the intersection with Wright Bliss Road.
Downed power lines fully blocked the roadway.
First responders didn’t share if there were any injuries related to the crash.
The closure is expected to last between six and eight hours, Washington State Patrol Trooper Kameron Watts said about 6:45 a.m.
Detours are in place to get around the closure. Drivers should expect delays and take alternate routes if possible.
