Court records say a woman watched on her home security camera as a man kicked in her apartment door.

TACOMA, Wash. — A Pierce County man is accused of threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend before kicking in the door of her apartment and going inside while her son was there, according to court documents.

Keundrea Damond Dixon was charged Monday in Pierce County Superior Court with felony violation of a court order, residential burglary, felony harassment and third-degree malicious mischief in what prosecutors described as a domestic violence case.

According to the sheriff’s report, the woman told deputies she was out at a bar when she got a call from an unknown number and heard Dixon ask where she was.

After she told him she was out, he said, “I’m going to f—— kill you b—-,” the report says.

The woman then got an alert from her home security camera showing Dixon at her apartment, where she watched him kick in the front door and go inside.

Deputies said the door frame was splintered where the deadbolt had been secured, and screws on the hinge side had been pulled free.

The woman’s son, who was inside the apartment, told deputies Dixon came in, asked where she was and went to her bedroom before leaving when he did not find her.

The report says dispatchers confirmed three active court orders protecting the woman, with the latest set to expire in 2030.

A short time later, deputies found Dixon near a 7-Eleven at 96th Street South and Pacific Avenue South.

Deputies wrote that he matched the clothing seen on the security camera and had a cut on his right leg.

Tacoma Fire responded, and Dixon was taken to St. Joseph’s hospital for treatment before being booked into jail, the report says.

Prosecutors asked for $100,000 bail and requested no contact with the victim’s child as a condition of release.

In another report, deputies wrote that the woman became visibly upset and cried when asked whether she believed Dixon was capable of killing her. She told deputies she did believe that, according to the report.
