PUYALLUP, Wash. — Two people are dead, including the suspect, after a domestic violence shooting in northwest Puyallup Thursday morning.
Puyallup police said officers responded to the area of Stewart Crossing around 9:15 a.m.
Police said the suspect reportedly shot two family members before a neighbor intervened and shot the suspect. Police said the domestic violence incident spilled into the neighbor’s driveway.
“Three family members were involved in a domestic situation. It spilled outside of the house and ended up in the neighbor’s driveway garage area. One of the family members ended up shooting two other adult family members. At that time, the homeowner of the neighboring house intervened, and the suspect was shot by the homeowner,” said Public Information Officer Cpt. Kevin Gill.
The suspect and one victim are deceased at the scene and another victim was transported to the hospital.
