BRYN MAWR-SKYWAY, Wash. — King County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a deadly shooting at Creston Point Apartments early Wednesday morning that left one man dead and another injured.
Deputies responded just after midnight after multiple neighbors reported gunfire at the apartment complex in the 13400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way S.
When deputies arrived, one male victim was walking and talking with minor injuries. Crews attempted life-saving measures on the second male victim, but he died at the scene.
The shooting occurred in the threshold of an apartment unit, the sheriff’s office said.
Major Crimes detectives are actively investigating, interviewing witnesses, and pursuing leads. Officials confirmed there is no ongoing danger to the public.
The Creston Point Apartments have been the site of deadly violence in the past. In 2024, a 10-year-old girl was shot and killed at the complex. In a separate incident in 2023, a 17-year-old was shot in the head and died.
