
I-90 near Ellensburg is open after a crash with a road work truck. A driver, uninjured, faces DUI and endangerment charges.
ELLENSBURG, Wash. — Interstate 90 in Kittitas County near Ellensburg has reopened following a crash involving a road maintenance vehicle.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a driver hit a Washington State Department of Transportation truck that was actively performing road work. The impact caused the WSDOT vehicle to leave the roadway, cross into the median, and roll over.
The driver of the state truck was transported to a hospital for treatment. Troopers say the other driver was not injured.
The driver who caused the collision is now facing charges of driving under the influence and endangering a roadway worker.
