TUKWILA, Wash. — The Seattle Seawolves begin their season at home against Old Glory D.C. on Friday evening.
The match is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Starfire Sports Complex.
KING 5 is partnering with the club to bring all of their games to fans who can’t watch in person for free on KONG and on streaming.
The professional rugby union club opens its ninth Major League Rugby season Friday at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. Head coach Allen Clarke said the team is poised for a winning campaign.
The club features athletes from 13 countries across the globe, including one local. Among this year’s roster is Tiai Vavao, a flanker from Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood who once sold Seawolves jerseys outside the stadium fence.
The Seawolves are a founding member of Major League Rugby, which was established in 2018.
