Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office seeks help identifying child found in Silverdale

SILVERDALE, Wash. — The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office has located the family of a young boy found barefoot in Silverdale after asking for the public’s help.

According to the sheriff’s office, the boy, who is believed to be about 2 years old, was found around 10:40 a.m. along Ridgetop Boulevard near the Tahoma intersection. Deputies said the child was not wearing shoes when he was located.

Authorities reported they located the child’s family at around 11:45 a.m.
