MUKILTEO, Wash. — A diver died Saturday morning after going into distress at Mukilteo Community Beach Park, according to the Mukilteo Fire Department.
Fire crews and paramedics responded to the park around 10 a.m. after receiving reports of a diver in distress. CPR was already in progress when first responders arrived.
Emergency crews took over life-saving efforts and continued CPR, but the diver was pronounced dead at the scene, the fire department said.
Officials did not release the age or gender of the victim.
